I do not participate with insurance providers directly. I do provide superbills at the end of the month every month for you to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Here are questions I encourage to ask your insurance provider to see what your out-of-network benefits are:
Do I have out-of-network outpatient mental health coverage?
Am I able to use these benefits for telehealth?
What is my out-of-network deductible?
How much of my deductible has been met this year?
Do I need a referral from an in-network provider to see someone out of network?
How do I submit claims for reimbursement?
How long does it take for me to receive reimbursement?

Generally, you’ll spend the first few sessions exploring all sorts of questions so we can develop a strong understanding of your history and personal build-up. We’ll then collaboratively set goals, and I will develop your treatment plan. -
The short answer is: It depends.
Some clients get what they need in 3-6 months. Others want to focus on new goals upon reaching their initial ones. Some people choose to stay in therapy long-term as a place to process week-to-week events.
Therapy is an incredibly individual process. Whenever you feel like you’ve gotten all you need, we’ll discuss wrapping up. -
Research suggests that the more consistently you meet with your therapist at the beginning of treatment, the better your outcome is. We request a commitment to weekly therapy for the first 8 weeks of treatment. Depending on your progress and needs, we may increase the frequency of sessions, or reduce it to biweekly or monthly.
-
I request 24 hours’ notice for non-emergent cancellations. Non-emergent cancellations within 24 hours are subject to the full session rate. The short-notice cancellation fee will be waived in the event of an emergency or illness, and everyone gets “one free pass.”
